Saturday 25th November Classes



We're very pleased to introduce Gayle Price, a new guest teacher who will be teaching for us at Cumberland Park Community centre.

Gayle Price is a multi-media explorer. She comes from an art education background and has been a scrapbook fanatic. She has served on several design teams and is currently a member of the Finnabair Creative Team. Her passion is Art Journals and she has been published in the book Art Journal Kickstarter and most recently featured in Stampington & Company's Art Journaling Magazine. She loves to explore the possibilities of mixed-media; to respect traditional techniques, but also to embrace the random. She believes that even as adults we still need to play, explore and create, and to do it with the same abandon and curiosity as that of a child.

 

$16 Class

 

Please Bring your basic kit plus the following (If you have it):

• Watercolour Paints (bright colours) *
• 4 or 5 small patterned stamps (NOT picture stamps, Geometric/texture/patterns are good). *
• 4 or 5 small patterned stencils. *
• A couple of small to medium round paint brushes. *
• A water-brush pen
• White Acrylic paint *
• White Sharpie or Posca pen with a fine point.
• Black Sharpie or any permanent marker with a fine point.
• Baby Wipes & Paper Towel
• Heat gun *
• Lead pencil & Scissors
• Makeup Sponge or Dauber to apply acrylic paint with. *
• Gold or Silver pens or paint. *
• Water soluble inks ( 13arts Ayeeda Ink or Dylusions Ink Spray or Tim Holtz Distress Spray Stain or Acrylic Inks or Ecoline Liquid Water Color or any combination of these) *
• Permanent Ink Pads in 4 or 5 bright colours ( StazOn or Ranger Archival Ink ) *
• Black StazOn Ink Pad *

 *We should have these items available for use/sharing in the workroom

For the morning class Jane has created a double multi-pocket layout using the same beautiful Simple Stories prints as her mini book.
